We are a non-governmental and non-profit organisation (NGO) which seeks the awareness-raising for preserving our culture and ecology. Escuelas Verdes is comprised of a group of professionals from Central America and Europe who are specialised in the defense of our earth and the environment. We work in coordination with partner organizations all over the world aiming to build up international links in the cultural and ecological field.
Our project coordination is located in the city of Hamburg (Germany). From here, we promote and coordinate the actions of our organization with universities and institutions for projects in Panama.
Our local coordination in Panama is situated in Santiago de Veraguas, from where we attend our associates, organise internships and offer seminars to students and professionals in various fields such as Sociology, Spanish, Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, International Relations, International Trade, Veterinary Medicine, Human Rights et cetera ...
Escuelas Verdes promotes intercultural exchange, carries out actions for the protection of culture and environment, for the preservation of our ancestral culture and the thousand years old mystical principles of our indigenous peoples of the Americas.
Escuelas Verdes is an independent organization, that does not receive any financial support from a company or government. The organisation maintains itself through the aid of its European and American associates, through donations or voluntary contributions to varying projects.
Our aims
• the acquaintance of pupils and students from all over the world to the culture of our indigenous peoples of America
• awareness-raising among people about the conservation and protection of their environment
• the implementation of further education on the use and application of new technologies such as recycling, solar cells, bio engines, natural fertilizers, and so on
• the creation of a center for environmental education.
• the conduction of the essential reforestation of our forests and jungles
• the promotion of food sovereignty and the use of compost to improve the land quality
• the resumption of the millennial knowledge and love for nature
• the transmission of the millennial knowledge of the indigenous cultures about medicinal herbology through workshops for doctors and tradicional healers with shamans and medicin men of our own America
